Here it is. I've been looking for a thread to vent my appreciation for the old Vet. Cool to see Harden w/ the trust there in the South-American Senior. I know he sucks at the line, but NeNe's too old to let a childish thing like the game on the line get in the way of his fockass. Hope some of this rubs off and Harrell and Capela while he's here.
Per Wikipedia: Nenê (born September 13, 1982) is a Brazilian professional basketball player for the Houston Rockets of the National Basketball Association (NBA). His birth name was Maybyner Rodney Hilário, but he legally changed it to Nenê in 2003. Where did he get Nene from? And why does he only go by one name? Leandro Barbosa, also Brazilian, doesn't go by one name, so it's not a country tradition.
Don't let the gray fool you! This man is a beast on the court!!! ALREADY being more productive than Dwert ever was for us!!! (P.S) Did I mention he can make free throws and doesn't commit silly fouls!!! ....... ....... .......
He is on many nights, but I'm all for getting him as much rest as we can afford. No need to work him too hard at this point in the year.
Nene in portugués means like baby; and I remember hearing somewhere that his family called him that as a kid
