I know this has been speculated on here, but I wonder if we could get Real Madrid's dynamic duo here. Per WOJ: Sources: Top Euroleague point guard planning return to NBA http://sports.yahoo.com/news/sources--top-euroleague-point-guard-planning-return-to-nba-185921854.html
Sergio Rodriguez will suffer next year if he comes. Llull's game style is much more suitable for Nba. Europe: S-Rod>Llull Nba: Llull>S-Rod
No. I don't think a team is going to give Rodriguez much more than the minimum. I wonder if we could talk him into a short term deal.
I wouldn't mind that, but that will depend if Llull wants to stay in Madrid or not. Morey should definitely consider Rodriguez with the MLE. Our options are pretty limited, unless we luck out on Lowry or Lawson.
Those are my thoughts. He's certainly not getting a starting job, a championship caliber teams won't trust him as a primary bench player, and tanking teams won't see the point in investing into a 29 y/o player that's already flamed out. I actually think the minimum with a team like the Rockets could make sense, especially if we're bringing LLull over. We have an obvious need for playmakers to compliment Harden. I think Rodriguez could provide that.
