The Rockets have key players to be better
Simply put the players have to be better.

PART 1: Stop looking at the score and the standings.
The Rockets really need to lock in and focus on one play at time
Run the play Right
Defend the right way
Don't worry about the next possession
Don't worry about the score
Don't worry about the last possession

They need FOCUS

PART 2: Focus on hitting your shots
Simple. . . the Rockets miss so many wide open shots it is ridiculous
When the shots fall . . .lanes open up
Now If I am a defense. . .I will clog the lane and dare the Rockets to shoot
I would only defend Harden to the 3 point line. . .everyone else. . . it's a less than 1 and 3 chance they hit
and none of them are going to get a f*cking rebound

Lol yes, Ariza is really the big difference here.

Max is right, the team needs to be MASSIVELY changed. As they are right now they simply are not good enough.

 

I like how both SAS and Max give extremely vague "solutions."

Getting Ariza back isn't going to solve anything. And tearing it down, but offering no suggestions on what to do or how to do it, is basically First Take's logic in a nutshell. Make big proclamations for the hot take, and then move on to the next sports topic.

 

Saying we just need Ariza back is like the '95 Bulls saying they just need Micheal Jordan to come back in March.

 

"Lack of Depth" is an excuse.

You have only two choices
Rockets: Put money on Top heavy players + 10 Houses and Clarks
Raptors: Give money to everyone
MDA is very greedy. He wants top heavy team and a Juggernaut bench.
