This was posted last month, but I just found it:

Mexican National Team soccer coach Jose Manuel “Chepo” de la Torre and director of national teams Héctor González Iñárritu hosted a news conference on Monday to preview the team’s upcoming match against Nigeria on Friday, May 31, at Reliant Stadium. Texans quarterback Matt Schaub was present at the Spanish-speaking press conference to exchange No. 8 jerseys with coach Chepo, who wore the number a player.
“It’s very cool to be here for this event in preparation for their match at the end of next month,” Schaub said. “To meet a guy like Coach Chepo knowing what his career was like and how great a player he was and wore number eight, it’s pretty cool to receive a No. 8 (Mexico) jersey of his with my name on it.”
The Mexico-Nigeria match is the third of five games in Mexico’s annual tour, now in its 11th year. For tickets, click here.

Also there is a video and Schaub is being interviewed and gives his views on the draft picks especially about DeAndre Hopkins:

Probably the best pass he threw all season.

True. At least he passed it instead of holding the clipboard.

I wasn't on the "get rid of Schaub" bandwagon until now. I'm so disappointed that he's consorting with the enemy.

Did Schaub pass over the jersey to Chepo while he was triple teamed while he ignored Lestar Jean who was wide open?

I didn't know Mexico was the Taliban. Perhaps a closet KKK and Hitler fan?

Exchanging a sports shirt accounted as "consorting with the enemy" is a bit extreme imo. I can't imagine what you think of people who eat at Gringo's, they must be making deals with the devil

The Texans CAN win a SB with Matt Schaub starting at QB.

the texans cannot win a super bowl with both matt schaub and gary kubiak at the helm.

one of them has to go if not both.

    Remains to be seen.

Defense needs the right personnel for Wade.

Offense is considerably upgraded from last year and we still put up the same amount of pts vs. NE in the playoffs as Baltimore did.

No joke. I had no idea how HUGE the NFL is down in Mexico until I went back in December. They could easily support an NFL team in Mexico City or Monterrey...it's just not going to happen any time soon.

From talking to them, they were (mainly) Cowboys or Chargers fans.

Yeah the NFL is HUGE in Mexico, and its growing every year, but I think you went to Tijuana or somewhere near by. because the 3 most popular teams in Mexico are: Cowboys, Steelers (tied in 1st place) and Raiders (below those two). Miami could be the 4th team. If you go to sports shop, you always see jerseys of those teams.

I'm sure they can easily support a team, but should they be allowed to. In all seriousness, should we just gift wrap some millionaire players and send out invitations to these cartels?!?!
