Yeah, he did a good job in the former cap system where diving deep in the the luxury tax helped you get wins. Then he said screw the luxury tax after it finally worked for him and disbanded his team.

Who doesn't pay up after they win? Cuban.

Under the new cap structure paying the lux tax sounds crazy considering what the new cap is. We will have to wait and see what teams do.

Good to hear props to our players from another NBA team's owner, even if that's from Cuban.

    The thread title was misleading.

I thought Mark Cuban was on Chandler Parsons?

    Oh, wait....that's right. Not anymore.

I've always loved Mark Cuban; but I hate his team, and the MAVS' fans. I just wish he owned a better team.

Instead, he owns the worst team in the West, tied for the worst record in the league.

I don't know man. Something really slimy and weird about an owner who is out clubbing with his players all the time. Grow up Cuban.

Mark Cuban has a point, he said Westbrook's team has to win more to be considered a "superstar".

Hilarious how two seasons ago Harden was voted by players as the MVP and he was runner up MVP. Last season he didn't make any All-NBA teams but this year he's back to being recognized and back in the MVP race again.

Thing is with Westbrook is he has always been capable of putting up numbers but when KD and Ibaka were on the team he did too much (and hampered their growth I believe). It's a proven thing, if you depend solely on one player to win that team is more than likely going to fail in the playoffs. Basketball is a team sport, when you start to involve others you win more in the long run and have a better chance to make it far in the playoffs.

That being said Westbrook in my eyes is currently a superstar, he just needs to adapt his attitude and game once he's paired up with more talent. LeBron figured that out during his first tenure with Cleveland, which is why he left (selfishly of course to win his rings) but by doing so Cleveland drafted Kyrie + Wiggins (to be traded for Kevin Love).

Glad Harden's not being hated, maybe because the media has finally grown tired of the Warriors with KD joining that team and the Rockets not having Dwight to hate on anymore.
