And we likewise saw LeBron emasculate David Blatt in ways that are simply unbecoming of a player of James' legend-in-the-making stature.

I saw it from close range in my role as sideline reporter through the Finals for ESPN Radio. LeBron essentially calling timeouts and making substitutions. LeBron openly barking at Blatt after decisions he didn't like. LeBron huddling frequently with Lue and so often looking at anyone other than Blatt.

There was LeBron, in one instance I witnessed from right behind the bench, shaking his head vociferously in protest after one play Blatt drew up in the third quarter of Game 5, amounting to the loudest nonverbal scolding you could imagine.

Which forced Blatt, in front of his whole team, to wipe the board clean and draw up something else.

My ESPN.com colleague Brian Windhorst, who ranks as the most credentialed LeBron-ologist there is after shadowing James since his teens, went on "SVP & Rusillo" on Wednesday and posited that No. 23 actually wouldn't mind if the Euroleague import keeps coaching the Cavs because he "likes having Blatt to kick around."

Fire Blatt and don't waste time/money to hire a new coach. Just make LerBron player/coach. Why pretend otherwise? We already know he and his "posse" are running the show.

LeBron smashed that rookie. I don't agree with Stein. If you're not on board with something and you have the leverage to control your own destiny then you shouldn't have to support things you don't believe in.
There are guys out there that LeBron would respect right off the bat. And plenty of experienced coaches that would be able to earn and command his respect. That's not something Blatt was capable of (obviously). For a superstar, LeBron has had a pretty mediocre cast of coaches along the way. It's strange and kind of a shame.

Like I said the moment Cleveland signed LeBron, just fire Blatt. He can evolve into a legitimate coach but he's a rookie and your team can contend. Why waste time?

LeBron seems to enjoy having Coaches that he can push around. From day 1, Woodson, Spoelstra, and now Blatt.

He wants to be the player and coach and just have assistants around him.

Andre Iguodala is the 2015 NBA FMVP.

In the series against the Cavs, Iguodala had the following stats :

    FG% 52%, 3PT FG% 40%, FT % 35.7%

Iggy was averaging 4.7 FT per game, averaging 36 minutes per game, 10 more mins than his 3 previous series in the playoff.

His teammate Draymond Green, was averaging 5.7 FT per game in this series, while shooting 73.5%.

David Blatt single handed made Iggy the FMVP, he can be called whatever Lebron wants to call him.

I don't know if I believe Windhorst. Never liked him. Too large.

But if it is true, damn LeBron. You need to chill and give Blatt a chance.

Everyone can see it during the games, Winshorst isn't exactly spilling top-secret stuff.

LeBron is a real bich for this, Blatt should honestly act like a man or move to another team.

On the one hand, Lerbon feels like the Finals are too important to be nice to his rookie coach, and he also feels like he knows what it takes to win the games (wrong, by evidence). But what he didn't consider, apparently, is the effect on the overall morale of the team and the effectiveness of the coach moving forward. Once you cut the balls off your coach in front of the team, you better be ready to just ask him to leave the building. I've seen that sort of thing up close and it is completely ****ed up, in terms of what it does to a team.

David Blatt is a terrible coach. Can't wait until he tries to call TOs with none remaining in another playoff game or draw up a last second play with LBJ taking the ball out of bounds. Fortunately for the Cavs, Lue saved him in the first instance and LBJ saved him in the second one.

Who on Mother Earth could coach LBJ? Whom would he allow to coach HisKingness?

    P-Jax. Maybe Pop. Doc? Nah.

Carlisle, Karl, KMc, Kerr, Smug Sanders? No way to any.

If you want LBJ you want LBJ all the way. (Hey Hey LBJ how many coaches did you kill today?)

Lue has a reputation of undermining the head coaches that he works under... he was a contender for the job before they gave it to Blatt. I am not saying Lebron is faultless, but I wouldn't be surprised if Lue was deeply involved.

Team is growing together. Seems like normal stuff. Blatt has to teach ( young players ) and lay off ( the veteran ). Lebron is in a difficult position of wanting and capable of winning now, when the rest of his team is not yet prepared for the journey he is on. A veteran coach may not be able to teach, and a rookie coach may not be able to let go. I think Blatt stays. And they grow together.

I think the main difference with him and Miami is that there were other strong personalities. Like Wade was behind Spoelstra so Lebron had to be behind him too. Riles was behind him so Lebron had to be behind him too.

Lebron is a guy that is a control freak. Blatt knows what he's doing, to undermine your coach like that is a huge detriment to the team. No matter how bad you think he is the team always has to be on the same page.

Interesting timing for this Stein article. Where was this article "during" the Finals?

If the Cavs pull off the upset, does this article get written? I wonder.
