Maybe he meant boner on boner and now it's gone away.

We normally have good teams with good players and nice people. Why do we keep getting screwed??

Must've been Taken out if context. Sure he meant he didn't want to end up with bone on bone in his knees. I can't recall DH having to miss a lot of games in Orlando because of his knees? Anyways wouldn't the Rockets organization know about this from his physical before we acquired him???????

Over the last decade, the ability to treat traumatically caused arthritic damage has improved. It is now possible to surgically correct isolated, traumatically caused cartilage lesions. This is a positive step forward in the treatment of arthritis as we know that untreated, these types of lesions result in wear-and-tear arthritis that is not treatable.

The procedures developed to treat these lesions are generically referred to as cartilage-preserving procedures. One procedure is a one-step technique where bone and cartilage plugs similar to hair plugs are removed from relatively non-utilized areas around the knee and plugged into the more stressed or injured areas. Osteochondral autografting such as this is referred to by many names; mosaicplasty, OATS, and COR procedures. For smaller isolated lesions of <1 cm square, this can be effective.

The second procedure is that of autologous cartilage implantation (ACI) or the Carticel procedure. This is done in two separate steps. First, chondrocytes (cartilage cells) are harvested from the knee via an arthroscopic procedure. Second, through an open procedure, a watertight pouch at the site of the defect is created, and cells are implanted underneath the pouch. This procedure has resulted in significant positive effects and a return to highly functional knees.

If this is true... ****. I knew Dwight's knee problem sounded very similar to Penny Hardaway's issues from the vague complaints to the lack of a diagnosis early on.

    Terrible news if true.

Was this why Morey looked like he was panicking during that in-game interview when Dwight sit out last minute?

I think everyone is over reacting to this. I'll believe it from a more credible source

Dwight is rubbing bone to bone but he is going to try to come back on Saturday? A bit dramatic? Hope so...

    Timmy D. Dwayne Wade. Kobe.

But really Dwight's quote could be interpreted so many ways:
    - Dwight being dramatic, or bad with splainin
    - "You, Marc Spears, have the bone on bone", says Dwight
    - When Marc Spears eventually gets the bone on bone. Dwight had a premonition.
    - Dwight is trying to avoid getting bone on bone by being cautious. Trying to get treatment to maintain the cartilage he has remaining.
-Pain is similar to bone on bone. He like most veterans, deal with less cartilage than what they used to have.

The way he's practicing, sprinting, and coming back Saturday, it seems like it's not something serious to freak out about right now.

Some one needs to tell Dwight that post ups will put pressure on his knees and that PnR will prolong his career.

We better develop Capela fast. Move Daniels and get another big.

We cannot play Howard every game. We also cannot feed him all those alley-oops. Hopefully he can still jump on his good leg to block shots.

Maybe that was the worst-case scenario the doctors explained to him if he didn't get the PRP and take better care of his knees.
