Is Pop still there? Then you probably aren't correct. I sure hope you are correct, and I like the (potentially) retooled Rockets' chances against the Spurs -- but people have been saying they are going to regress for a long time, and they don't. And with Parker getting better, Kawhi emerging, and their ability to find role players to perfectly fit what their team needs -- I just don't see them regressing. A great coach like Pop can defy expectations. Just like Thibs did in Chicago when all of their players were injured.
This is what well-run organizations do. Splitter and Ginobili were very key to their success last year. Yes, they shat the bed in the Finals, but Spurs know better than to freak out about a small sample size against the best team in the L.
