Well, I'd love to have a new attitude for next season, but it ain't happening. The only thing we could do is add a run-of-the-mill shooting guard that doesn't play any defense. The only good thing about next season is that the Jazz will suck harder than a two dollar crack w****...Now that the Clippers have kicked Andre Miller to the curb, they'll take Utah's playoff spot

    San Antonio
    LA Lakers
    Spurs
    Mavs
    Wolves
    Suns
    Blazers
    Clippers

    Another year, another lottery season...

    A-Train,

What are you thinking?? Rockets could beat the Blazers and the Clippers w/o adding a single player. The off-season still has two months left so don't jump the gun on these bs predictions.

The Clippers?!?! Are you kidding me?!?!?!

Let's see, they lost Miller and Olowokandi and they're better than the Rockets how?

Holy crap, is this THE A-Train?

You probably have no stinkin' idea who I am, but welcome back!

BTW, new coach, new offense, stronger Yao, smarter Francis (or else JVG will slap him) = playoff birth. I'm thinking 6 or 7 seed.

I'm pretty confident that we'll finish ahead of Pheonix, Golden State, Seattle, and the Clipps. Considering how pessimistic I was heading into last season, I'm relatively optimistic about this one.

You have the Spurs right after the Lakers ... then who plays in San Antonio ... is it the Rockets?

you come back to post that negative crap?
the rockets were 1 game out of the playoffs running with absolutely no set offensive strategy and an exhausted star center, and you think this team is not in the playoffs? perhaps we could wait for actual games to be played. that might give us a better idea.

    A-Train:

If you're going to be that negative the least you could do is bring up a new point or some sort of decent insight. (wait, is saying the Rockets are going to be worse than the Clippers a new point? well who cares, it's stupid.) Or at the very least you could make sure you didn't list the same team twice.

LOL, whoo hoo!!! A-train is back and ready to steamroll the rox optimists! I respect your pesimistic and sadistic attitude towards being a rox fan, but really do you think they are a lock for the lottery? They have a very good.. mind you VERY GOOD chance at 6-8 seed. I don't see them in the lottery, but then again they could just be screwing with our hopes.

Wow, you think San Antonio and the Spurs are going to make the playoffs as the 1st and 3rd seeds?

I'd be willing to bet my house on that not happening. Any takers? :D

Hmmm... wellll, suppose, JUST suppose, that the Maloofs sell their
team.. and at the same time, the Spurs relocate their franchise to,
I don't know, Pittsburgh or something.. and then the new owner
of the Kings relocates to the now-vacant spot in San Antonio..

Then A-Train's scenario could actually happen..

    LOOOOOOL!

Don't know how A-Train can open his mouth after this one. He basically admitted that only 7 teams are better than us.

Realistically though, I see is in 8th spot. Last year, 7th was possible, but this year, everyone improved too much.

I think we can all agree that the team he left out, The Kings, are better than us. ;)

All the newbies have been hearing about you in the Hangout Forum A-Train. Good to see you're still kickin', things haven't been as fun around here without you.

But your post sucks. I will tell you why we have a great chance in the west.

    Kobe will be in Jail.

Webber is trying to recover from knee surgeory and the Kings lost Pollard while getting Brad Miller who can do nothing against Ming and is barely any better than the already under used Keon Clark.

Robinson will be a big loss for the Spurs and Nesterovich will take at least a year to figure out how to work with Duncan.

    We can beat Dallas.

The wolves will be tough, probably our toughest competition.

The suns don't have A talent besides Stoudamire and he is too young to carry his team. No one there can guard Ming.

    Blazers are headed south.

Clippers will lose Kandi and Miller.

And the Rocks will get better every year just because of experience. Also Piatkowsky will be a huge asset with Ming in the game.
