If we made more shots than we took and go 25/20 from 3. We wouldve blown everybody out. ‍♀️

I think the Rockets just need to tweak their offense slightly. Still focus on 3's and lay ups majority of the time and occasionally allow only Harden, Paul and Gordon to shoot from their sweet spots inside the arc. Defensively last year we gave up a lot of points inside the paint as teams were able to drive to the basket very often against us. Hopefully with the guys we added in the offseason and our coaches will focus on paint defense and better defensive rebounding. MDA said he wants the Rockets to be a top five defense, I hope the Rockets will try hard at achieving that feat, MDA is not known to show much passion for defense. If MDA and Rockets want to get by Popovich and challenge the Warriors we need to be a better defensive team.

I blame the f'n knicks. Having a guy like Melo in the front court would have helped us out in so many ways! I am still pissed at Perry and the whole Knicks organization!

    How is 4-1 a failure?

Only failure is outside of the 8, 9 guys, Zhou Qi aint ready, Taylor and other scrubs aint ready.

It was Morey's decision to not up the offer. I don't think any sane GM would've taken Ryno.

Rudy Gay in limited minutes outshone most of our bench guys and some starters.

Without Eric Gordon's scoring it might have led to a minor blowout.

We made cp3 obsolete with this stupid predictable system. Even if we get LeBron and Michael Jordan we still wouldn't beat the spurs. We turned cp3 into a set shooter worst than Ryan Anderson

Lol CP3 did not even need to step on court against the Spurs.

Joke all you want, this was not a great pre-season by any stretch of the imagination. The only positive things I've seen is CP3's passing, PJ's defense and stroke, Capela's flashes of improvement on offense, Gordon being great and Ariza showing how good he can be when well rested (started out great last year as well, but fatigue got to him). The most surprising was Mbah a Moute, very impressed with his drives and defense.

Who really cares about Preseason in here?

Yup, we got some problems. They are not miraculously gone just because we got CP3. Of course the Spurs give us problems.

They knocked us out last postseason. We knew that already. We do look better on paper but not in reality.

    Not as of yet.

Right now the only Shooting Guard I am seeing is Eric Gordon. He is exactly doing what he has been told.

    Catch n shoot.

Harden is a combo guard who can't turn off either side. When he is told to play off ball, he is standing around and expect the ball. He just does not move his feet very well when not hogging the ball.

When he is creating, he does it well enough but not perfectly, he makes sloppy passes or dribbles too much.

    Not enough panic threads.

We need threads predicting deaths, suspensions, arrests, Harden blamed for nuclear war with North Korea.

Get to work chicken little army

I forgot the owner is in financial trouble, the player's cafeteria is not up to par, & they're too busy finding a new hotel(s) to stay at.

So your not impressed, but literally named about half the team who you have been impressed by?

    Ever the pessimistic cynic
