I don't agree with Maher on everything but he is on point about one thing
No matter your label, group, association, political affiliation etc

Both Parties have not so much sold the people on anything either of them are talking
    but
They make everyone feel like. . . You have no where else to go!

The basics of Politics is . . . not to get the guy to vote for you . . but to not vote for the other guy
Make him feel like the other guy will f*ck you over more than I will

Sure there are somethings they each pull people to them
but seems like it more about pushing them away from the other guys

This is why it's imperative we nominate someone who supports ranked choice voting.

Of course both the DNC and RNC have a vested interest in squashing this, because a 3rd party (and 4th... and 5th) is bad for their business (and they are indeed businesses).

I've felt that way since I was old enough to vote. But, after 2016 it's different. I guess the Dems won the tug-o-war over my soul. I can't really move forward with anything else politically until Trump is gone. If that takes a socialist or a house plant to effectuate, so be it. Once that's fixed, I can get back to the in-fighting.

As far as I can tell, only 4 candidates have formally endorsed RCV. Sanders, Yang, Gabbard, and Williamson. All 4 are party outsiders (unsurprisingly).

We are going to be stuck in this hell world until we finally get beyond the 2PS. It's my #1 issue.

The issue is most Third Parties are only attempting to be home run hitters. . .they only running people for President or maybe a governor
They need to play some small ball.

I look at our Mayor race .. . alot of people don't like Busbee or Turner
Where is the Third Option here? The 4th largest city in the nation IMO was up for grabs and does not seem like we got a legit candidate.
pick a party Green, Libertarian, etc - If they threw their might behind someone in this one city
They probably had a good opportunity

I am looking at the results. Bill King and DWIGHT A. BOYKINS are the two next with the most votes
    Boykins is another democrat
    King seems unaffiliated

It doesn't matter how much small ball you play, you are never going to get past the R and D gatekeepers.

This isn't a bug of our system, it's a feature.

'It is not only persons but groups of people
a large part of Black Folx feel this way when one party seems to want to undo all your civil right
The other party is not so much helping you as much as not hurting you . . . .
