The only thing that makes me sad about this is we will likely lose him next season unless we find some way to get rid of Anderson's salary.

Favorite pickup this off season and his 4 steals and break up of plays really were something that I thought Luc and Tucker would bring to help contend. That along with the team looking great last night without Anderson and Gordon. The fact that you can lose two players and just pop in Luc and Ariza for the extra minutes was impressive. We have still yet to see the team at 100% which has me excited and really think this is the best team Harden has had since being here.

Yeah, the guy's like an actual prince (cue the Coming to America memes)

Mbah a Moute is a prince in the village of Bia Messe (near Yaoundé),[19] as he is a son of the elected village chief, Camille Mouté à Bidias. His father is a high-ranking government official, managing the National Employment Fund of Cameroon, a training and job-placement national agency. Mbah a Moute is the twin brother of Emmanuel Bidias a Moute, who played basketball for Texas State University. His younger brother, Roger Moute a Bidias, is a basketball student-athlete for the California Golden Bears.[20] His cousin, Landry Nnoko, is currently on a training camp deal with the Detroit Pistons.

Mbah a Moute helped discover Cameroonian center Joel Embiid, the third overall pick in the 2014 NBA draft and eventual teammate on the Philadelphia 76ers.[21] He also helped discover another Cameroonian player in power forward Pascal Siakam, the 27th pick in the 2016 NBA draft.

(yes, just had to put this in here):

I look at our off-season and I'm just amazed at what Morey was able to pull-off. Luc has been outstanding in his role and gives us protection/relief for Ariza, which in turn has rejuvenated Trevor. I love watching this team just CRUSH opponents.

He LOVES Houston tho. LOVES all the African spots in town. (But DC and Atlanta have similar offerings although neither have CP3 who he also loves).

I agree totally. I'm excited about Chris Paul but if all we did was add Luc and Tucker I would still like our chances. Something these guys bring, that we have been missing from our reserves, is CONSISTENCY. Look at their stats over the last couple of years. They are right on point doing for us what they've always done. The difference is we have a championship level starting 5.

Love me some Tucker and Luc Mbah Moute!

When Luc retires, he is going to replace Morey as the Rockets GM and we will have only African players.

Why does ESPN refer to it as "Best since 2001..."?

    Mbah a Moute's plus-57 best in NBA since 2001
    HOUSTON ROCKETS
    17hTim MacMahon

The Rockets outscored the Denver Nuggets by 57 points in reserve forward Luc Mbah a Moute's 26 minutes during Houston's 125-95 rout Wednesday night.

    ....

The plus-57 is the best plus-minus recorded in any NBA game (regular season or playoffs) in the past two decades, according to ESPN Stats & Information. Joe Smith had the previous best plus-minus over the past two decades with a plus-52 in the Minnesota Timberwolves' blowout win over the Chicago Bulls on Nov. 8, 2001.

    +57 is Better than +52...

So Luc is better than Joe Smith...

    If Smith had the record...

Makes it the BEST EVER PERFORMANCE (or when?!

    #mediaconspiracy?

If Smith's record is just from the last 2 decades... what is the record? from when?

But I'm sure he loves money more though. Bottom line he's a versatile and a real good dude. Hope he's back here.
