After hearing how much he’d like to stay there and not get moved made me think this would happen. Good for Lou.

    Nice, he definitely deserves it.

And as a bonus we don't need to worry about the Clips trading him to OKC. Now we just need someone else to snag AB from them.

Neither are they. That's what happens when Doc Rivers is in charge...

    Fools gold.

Stupid Clippers of old have returned. Just when you thought they would clear significant cap space to properly rebuild in free agency, they pull this stuff.

Between Gallinari, Harris, Lou, and Rivers, Clippers will have locked up $65 million in cap on role players with no superstar on the roster and still have Jordan, Bradley, Teodosic, and Johnson all as free agents this summer.

Dumbest front office in the NBA.

Excellent. Now he won't wind up with OKC, Boston, or Golden State.

Can't trust the Clippers. Blake was supposed to be a Clipper for life then they traded him a few month later. I hope they aren't taking Lou for a ride.

    This.
I feel like they’d lock him into a team friendly contract; then next season trade him for future assets.

Which is why I have doubts about this report. Makes no sense for the Clippers.

Would be great for Lou. He gets paid, gets to live the life in LA and play in a bunch of meaningless games.

All perfect for a guy like him.

If Jerry West is running the show then why even bring up Doc Rivers? This is 100% Jerry West

Doc is a lame duck. He's gone after the season. Hiring West and trading CP3 put him on thin ice. The Griffin trade makes it 100% certain.
