Between Thabeet, Hill, Williams, Flynn, Carroll, and Bud that's about 20 million that can come off the books after next year. Is it just me or does it seem like Morey is accumulating players with team options for that year so he can clear space?

If true that could be a very good thing. If we suck this year (or at least don't make the playoffs) we could be in a position to do well in the draft, sign some decent players and turn the team around. If you also factor in potential movement from our current roster (ie Martin and Scola being traded) we might be able to land talent this year to help intice other players next year.

We were talking about this last night. I originally thought he was collecting 09 lotto picks with the hope that at least 1 would pan out. It's starting to look like he's gonna clear some nice cap space. Lol at all the people hating Morey for getting all these "busts". The guy sees the whole picture.

So basically we have to make a trade b4 the deadline? Will we have enough cap to sign outright this coming off-season?

This is the order of who we should target.

    Cp3 first.
    Dwight a close second.
    Deron a distant third.
