    1. Missed a big 2 body to bump Deron also weak side defence on Carlos
    2. Changed the rotation chemistry
    3. Shorten our bench
    4. Lose post threat when our 3S non threat

So it would cost us post season?

the sad thing to me is i think a coach like Rudy T would have made sure to find a way get bonzi into to the mix to help this team.

jvg is too stubborn, so..... we need that toughness right about now

I know, right? Bonzi had such a wonderful attitude after not getting his big contract and was in such great shape. He also played really well when he actually did get PT.

I'm so glad that he never made up any excuses to not play and decided to not show up to a game when he was going to get PT to determine playoff minutes...

I wonder where it all went wrong??? Who WOULDN'T want that guy on their roster???

The whole back-and-forth on Bonzi (and in a sense Snyder) was very costly IMHO. Because of it, we really never settled the issue of a reliable scorer off the bench and it's making life hard for the Rox right now.

But I wouldn't really 100% blame anyone for this. JVG showed willingness to give him a chance even though it was on his strict terms. And Bonzi seemed like he would get his act together in the month or so before the All-Star Break, which then led to his not getting traded, I think.

But then everything went to hell in the second half of the season.
    Sigh.

I agree about Rudy and also some other NBA coaches such as Phil Jackson.

I think it is possible that most of the tough guy offensive players cannot play for JVG. Gifted scorers/ slashers may often tend to have strong, perhaps even rebellious, personalities. Many are not excellent defensive players who always expend great energy on that end. TMac and Yao are obviously scorers, but are not rebellious.

It leaves a very limited set of offensive/slashers who can play for JVG.

It he is coach of Lakers, Kobe banned already

Hope it is not too late to bring Bonzi in since we have long way to go

The Bonzi that we lost at the end of the season isn't that something worth feeling bad about. He was totally out of game shape.

But I blame JVG not giving him enough chance early on, especially knowing how thin our bench is.

Yep, God knows what the Rockets need right now is a more turnover-prone shooting guard. One that looks like a traffic barrel on defense. I'd love to have last year's Bonzi Wells in uniform right. This year's version is better off fishing.

Yes, Bonzi quitting on the team and himself could cost us in the post season.

Bonzi never cared about the team, as demonstrated by him going AWOL when we were fighting for home court advantage.

All Bonzi ever cared about was the fact that he didn't get his $30+ million contract with Sacramento. He then decided to go AWOL because he was afraid other scouts would see his dismal play which meant he would never get signed again for 30+ million.

Yes I do want to blame JVG for his lack of smart coaching ability on problematic player like Bonzi / Rasheed / Peterson.

Larry Brown and Saunders on Sheed has shown me what skills JVG is missing.

Sheed is well down worse "blazer thug" than Wells. But Brown and Saunders knows who to manage unfortunally JVG doesn't know.

Larry loves to blame his players.. hence his successful tenure with the NYK.

Saunders came in to an already tamed R.Wallace...
