Why risk getting a guy who won't care about the city he's playing for and therefore pissing off every fan in Houston.

Morey should keep doing what he's doing and garner all of the draft picks that he can.

Trade Lowry, Dalembert, 14, and 18 to SAC for Tyreke and #5 ( I know alot of people HAATE Tyreke, but he's not even 23 yet give him a f***ing chance and i think he'd flourish at the 2).

Then, offer PPat, Kmart, Morris to the Hawks for Josh Smith

Pick up a veteran free agent PG and maybe a veteran combo wing.

Draft Drummond at 5 and Harkless or Perry Jones whoevers there and we now have a young rebuilding squad w/ a lot of athleticism and some veteran leadership mixed in.

    Dragic/FA PG
    Evans/Lee
    Parsons/Harkless or Jones III
    Smith/Scola/Motiejunas
    Motiejunas/Drummond/Camby

Wont get us a ring right away, but it's a definite step in the right direction w/o risking too much. I can see a top 5 seed in the playoffs w/ this lineup.

Like you said, maybe not right away. But probably a playoff team in 3 years. :(

    Then no.

Only acceptable moves are the ones that get us a ring right away.

Not a fan of Tyreke but would be happy to have Drummond.

Smith I see as a replacement for Scola, but if you get a dominant defensive center Scola would be perfect next to.

I totally agree with this guy. We neeeeed to take it slow. We can't have a championship team right away. Building around Gogi, Lee, D-Mo, and Scola is the right decision. If we can some how aquire Tyreke and J-Smoove, we will be a great team again. If Tyreke can come here and prove to the league that he can play, his stock will rise and we can perhaps trade him if the timing is right. Championships don't come easy. We must build around what we already have. We were so close to getting into the playoffs, we just need to tweak our roster a little bit.

Didn't the Sacremento trade get rejected? Not once, but twice?

If so, stop putting in Tyreke black hole Evans!

If not, the trade still hasn't gone through yet, and that team is not very viable. Like Sacremento....

Your a dumba** if you think thats gonna work. You really think Dwight is gonna stay here? Sources even said, if he won a title here, he would still leave!
