A taller Ricky Rubio without defense. Without out all the ridiculous hype, he probably wouldn't have been a lottery pick.

Actually, Rubio is a pretty good defender and somehow a better scorer than Ball.

But the kid has time to improve. They can take 3 years to rebuild his shot from scratch. Rubio has been playing professional basketball among excellent shooters for 10 years.

Lonzo's shooting numbers are identical to Marcus Smart. 30% FG

Its a new team and he needs to adjust for playing with Gobert, who does not catch the ball as well as someone like KAT, which has been causing a lot of the turnovers.

Difference is countless players have developed a jump shot over their career, while Rubio is one of the few guards in the league who could NEVER learn to shoot. At all. Along with Rajon Rondo and Andre Roberson. Way top early to say Lonzo will be a career **** shooter, especially since he had good percentages in college. Kevin Martin showed us you can be an efficient with wonky shot mechanics

Lots of busts like Adam morrison shot well in college lol. I guess its different being guarded by unathletic white kids in college vs the monstrous freaks of the NBA. I wouldn't write him out just yet though, Ball has too much talent to be a bust. He needs to find a shooting coach and reinvent his shooting mechanics in the summer, like what Parker did before.

Lavar Ball and the Ball Family is the biggest rip off family ever. $500 shoes, sons can’t play. One kid is stealing from the mall. This is a mess

Rondo averaged above 36% from 3 over the last three seasons and 37.6% last year, he's a bad example.

hes still not a good 3 pt shooter. shooting a little over 1 a game over the course of a season the last couple seasons. if he was forced into a role where he had to shoot a higher volume he'd still be pretty bad. but atleast he knows he shouldnt be shooting that much

2.4 attemps two season ago and 1.9 last one. It's definitely not a high amount, but solid.

Regarding the topic: Guys like him and Rubio at least have good shooting mechanics and nail them in practice, but Lonzo's shot foundation is completely screwed. This will take a lot of time and effort to be repaired, and even then he will have to nail them in-game.

Had no idea. Even further proof it's WAY too early to label Lonzo a career **** shooter
