Sadly, this is the closest I'll ever get to feeling like Jesse Jackson on election night in 2008.

Trump won't let the London mayor travel to America. You never know, might be ISIS.

On a side note, the Conservative candidate ran a pretty blatantly racist and generally offensive campaign. Pretty much torpedoed the party in London. Labour picked up a seat on the council and won control of the mayor's office. And this on the back of a federal election where the Conservatives won a majority in Parliament.

There's a lesson here for Trump... But somehow I bet he'll just say something racist about the new mayor instead.

Hollow victory. Labour got wrecked. UKIP is growing.

No question its a problem but UKIP is taking votes from Conservatives and Labour. Where Labour got killed was Scotland thanks to the SNP. On top of that, vote splitting between the SNP and Labour let the Conservatives gain new seats in Scotland. That's the big loss. The UKIP phenomenon is hurting both parties while pushing Conservatives to the right on immigration and other areas like the EU.

Labour did end up losing seats in England as a whole but frankly they did better than I thought considering how negative Corbyn's presence is for the party as a whole.

The British ambassador to ASEAN is of Pakistani descent. I've met him, he was nice. Nothing to do with the story, but thought I'd share a totally irrelevant fact.

By unrealistic does it mean altered photoshop etc? Doesn't say any more clothing. Stop being lazy with your tweet parade. Same for the twit that tweeted a twat.

This body image thing was an open and loud campaign promise. It's not like a stealth agenda.
(shrug) The voters in London were apparently fine with it.

The Left has always liked over-regulation and a patronizing government.
