He’s gonna torture Houston rockets in 2020s when Harden and Paul are gone and we are a lotto team

Of course Holic is the only idiot to stand firm on his opinion when literally every single person in the know is saying the exact opposite.

How much money would it cost you to sign out permanently of your main and all your burner accounts and never visit Clutchfans again? I'd kick off the gofundme.

Haven't really watched the Mavs this year so I took @basketballholic at his word that DJ is "balling on both ends of the court" and "looks excellent" and "maybe better than ever." Maybe that was a mistake, but I thought holic was someone worth listening to. I suppose not.

DJ's FT approach is definitely improved. Not sure why he would get lazy and mail it in already - he's getting paid handsomely and is only on a one year deal, so he should have some motivation.

The Mavs aren't a very good team, but if you watch them they've got a lot of young guys that play really hard. Wesley Matthews is playing his best basketball in years. DJ buying in would make them a lot better. If either of them were bought out they would be great pickups for us.

I'd kill to make this happen. I thought the Rockets were going to be so deep this year but our bench is just terrible right now. Especially with Eric Gordon looking so inexplicably awful. Gerald Green is bad. Nene is MIA. At least last year we could occasionally count on him contributing. Melo and MCW are complete busts. Thank goodness for Gary Clark. We'd be beyond screwed if he wasn't playing well beyond anyone's expectations but I'm still not that comfortable with relying upon an undrafted rookie for significant minutes. Especially in the playoffs.

They're not playing to win. They're playing for a lottery pick. DJ knows that. But he's balling anyways. Selfish? Everybody on that team other than Luka and Dirk is.

Their offseason moves would suggest they were trying to win. They wouldn't have made the DJ move otherwise. But there is a threshold. They owe ATL their 1st round pick next year if it isn't in the top 5. So, if they are sucking later in the year, they may have incentive to FULL tank. BUT, the lottery odds have changed this year so it might not help them as much in the past.

There is a good shot Dallas doesn't get their 1st this year.

DJ got the Holic kiss of death. Immediately when Holic says something, just assume the exact opposite will be correct in short order.

His free throw shooting tho.... Read somewhere that it's higher than CP3's and Harden's.
