I once watched a Rox-Cavs game. I wasn't looking at the tv screen at that moment, but I was listening. Kyrie makes a shot and the announcer gets hyped about it. Apparently as Kyrie was jogging back up the court after the shot, the announcer goes "stop it, Kye Ree! stop it!" As if Kyrie was just toying with the Rockets at that point.

This was when Kyrie was leading that lotto team. Rox obviously won.

I've always loved Bill. He and Calvin would always keep me entertained even when Rockets were losing. Never understood the hate Bill gets from some posters on here, though he is losing his memory a little.

I have come to respect Drexler a little more. At first I use to turn the TV volume off. And Bull is ok.

With that said I did not expect number 1...

A couple of wtf moments already by Clyde..

If Gordon stays healthy, the Pelicans will make a deep run in the playoffs.

Bill and Bullard are talking about the SW and how tough it is. He mentions OKC.

    Clyde: "Ambidextry"

I love our guys, even Clyde. Don't even mind his homerism, but just wish he would stop with repeating the same old bloody cliches time after time. He trots them out even when they don't even apply to the situation in the game.

Clyde: "Before Scotty Brooks got to OKC they were mediocre"
Bull: "They were a little worse than mediocre"
    Clyde: "Exactly"

Right? Zero preparation before each game.

Sounds like his approach to coaching. Just show up.

He doesn't add to the excitement of the game (like Calvin does). Nor does he impart much if any basketball insights (like Bull and Calvin does). It appears the Root producers are fine with him based solely on his past as a great basketball player. Shame... the games always seem to flow better on the road.

Clyde needs a hobby or something, something that will persuade him to retire, so Calvin can come back to the floor next to Bill where he belongs.

i would love for calvin to come back. he is so much better than clyde or bullard in my opinion.

this was said today on espn.

Team DVR is a title contender that bludgeons you with wave after wave of sprinting athletes, but that does not translate to a friendly Wednesday-night watch. The free throw parade is interminable and the broadcast table features the league’s shrillest group of homers. Bill Worrell, the play-by-play guy, is a legend, and both Clyde Drexler and Matt Bullard — the third man, like Hollywood Hogan — know more basketball than I ever could. It’s a shame the rah-rah nonsense and complaints about officiating drown out the insights. The court is ugly, the uniforms mediocre.

The post game analysis pair seems odd. That kevin can't take a joke from Calvin. He seemed so irritated and fake.
