now that it's the all star break, let me ask a "who's your favorite" question. Who are some of you favorite Rockets NOT including the "stars" (Hakeem, Malone, Sampson, Francis, Calvin, etc)...In other words, other than hall of fame-type guys. I remember being a HUGE fan of Lewis Lloyd! When he was on - there seemed like there was no stopping the man. I was really shocked and disturbed when he got kicked out of the league. For some reason I also liked Rodney McCray... ------------------ "I think the people who believed the world was flat were pretty stupid. You would think at least those living near mountains would know better." - P. Mesku
I am, and will always be, a huge Matt Bullard guy. Air Bull is the greatest, no one enjoys it more than me when he uses that 2" verticle to get a block or a dunk. Go Air Bull!!! ------------------ "Of course, everything looks bad if you remember it!" Homer Simpson
Scottie peeppee I would have to go with Mario Ellie. ------------------ Baseball is wrong, a man with four balls can't walk.
Kenny Thomas Kenny Smith ------------------ "Knickerbocker Please!" visit www.swirve.com, coming January 20th, the top 10 films of 2000! http://www.geocities.com/clutch34_2000 for great Rocket insight by some of your fellow BBS posters!
Mike Newlin Billy Paultz Bill Willoughby - Only guy I ever saw block a Kareem sky hook. Dan Langhi. ------------------

Kenny Smith Sam Cassell Mario Elie but possibly my favorite rocket (other than Hakeem) of all time is Robert Reid. I met the guy when I was 10 years old and had a nice conversation with him at his basketball camp and for that I will always be a fan (even though I met him years after he retired. ------------------ The whole world we travel with our thoughts, Finding nowhere anyone as precious as one's own self. Which basketball camp? I met him too when I was about 10 at a camp ------------------ "I think the people who believed the world was flat were pretty stupid. You would think at least those living near mountains would know better." - P. Mesku
Mine would probably have to be Cuttino, I've only been following them since the Championship years. I'm a front runner with a loyal streak. ------------------ "The Holocaust was an obscene period in our nation's history. I mean in this century's history. But we all lived in this century. I didn't live in this century." -Dan Quayle
Kenny Smith Matt Bullard Carlos Rogers ------------------ "We're not settling for just getting in the playoffs." "We want a higher seed. There's no doubt. We expect to get in."-- Steve Francis President of the Mo Taylor and Jason Collier fan club! Teams win and lose games, not individuals. Draftsource.net ClutchTown.com
Allen Leavell and Mitch Wiggins Both played defense like it should be played. Growing up, I was a defensive stopper for my teams, so it was a treat for me to see these two play the game. ------------------ Behad Sergeant at Arms of the Clutch BBS
Kenny Smith, Mario Elie, Robert Horry to name a few. I also enjoyed watching Mad Max and "Amigo" Carl Herrera when they were Rockets. ------------------ "Steve is good. Steve is real good." -- Cleveland's rookie point guard Andre Miller on Rocket rookie point Steve Francis
Robert Horry. Definitely. Also Sam the Man, Mad Max and Kenny Smith. And we can't forget Sean Elliot, who failed that physical after he was traded to the Rockets for Horry and Bull. ------------------ The best is yet to come. Go Rockets!
