Les destroyed Tillman on those negotiations. "Okay okay, Les! 2 billion dollars AND you get to keep the trophies but god damn it, I'm keeping Harden's contract."
Its things like this that make me wonder why some CF members long to have him back. Honestly what the hell is going to happen to the original trophies when he kicks the bucket?? I mean he's 75. How disrespectful would it be if a 53 year old librarian from New Jersey ended up picking them up at Les' estate sale? LOL Will his one kid get them? Make no f*cking sense to take the originals....
Why do I care what Les does with some outdated home decor items ? That sh!tz old news dude .... I'm more concerned the damage Ferntits is doing to the current team than what Les does with those old metal balls.
That's a team trophy. It should reside in the Toyota Center. The only person that can even remotely stake a claim on those trophies is Hakeem but I would be against that as well.
Real Rockets fans care about everything from the hot dogs at Toyota Center to Rudy T getting in the hall of fame and to the trophies coming back to Houston. real Rockets fans know no time, what is wrong about past and present are still wrong.
Les really didn't do a anything. He inherited a team that Steve Patterson built. Once that team declined it took almost 10 years to advance past the first round of the playoffs and another 10 to do it again. Those who think Les was a good owner are living in fantasy land. His best move was hiring Morey.
Les did one thing He sold our city’s identity to China It’s not their team , it’s Houston’s team first and foremost @Reeko
