Who really cares. The championships are well documented. Losing the original metal trophies changes nothing.

I don't care because the physical trophies don't mean anything themselves but I can't get over this dude keeping them like he won them himself.

Hakeem has replicas in his trophy room...Les should get replicas as well...he didn’t start the franchise..

I equate it to when a business wins awards for excellence and they sale that company. Those awards remains..

    I care.

Because that cheap china puppet inherited the team that was built by the previous GM and Owner.

don't get me wrong, I'm all for China to love the Rockets. But to see Tencent ads during the game (I know what they are) is insane.

At least give the trophy to Yao Ming cause he made Les billions from China.

What's he gonna do with them? It's lame. If anything give 'em to Dream....he earned it.

    LOL

He didn't even give Dream that extra few million in his last season for putting the franchise on the map so Dream went to Toronto

You realize he already took away the CHAMPIONSHIP LOGO AND JERSEYS from us, the TROPHIES make sense

Somebody go to Dream's house to make sure he didn't get kidnapped and forced to play in the CBA

I wish we could have kept them, but I can't fault him for taking them. They belong to him, ultimately.

Hopefully he leaves them to the franchise in his will.

    What????

He bought the team that Steve Patterson built . What did he do to them to win a championship in the first year ?
    Nothing.

Wait, so how many championships did he win after 2 years and then changing the logo and jersey and moving the arena and getting all the chinese business?

    Thats a scumbag move.

The trophy should stay at Toyota Center.

    It belongs to the team.

there should at least be a rule that when the owner dies he has to donate the original authentic trophies to the team and his family gets back the replicas.
