Lee P. Brown -- next FBI Director????

Channel 2 did a story on Mayor Lee P. Brown's address to the Democratic National Convention. (He spoke for 3 1/2 minutes, and didn't really say much.)

After showing the clip, Bill Biessa (sp?) was talking about a line from the speach "I'll see you'all next year at Al Gore's Whitehouse." They said it could be foreshadowing of a potential appointment by Al Gore (if he wins).

Bill Biessa said, "of course, he could reasonably expect some type of position in the Gore administration. And of course one position talked about that might be open is the FBI director.

How do "you'all" feel about that? The suggestion that he would be considered for that position terrifies me. That's a job where, regardless of the other views, you want a strong leader with a strong record of law enforcement. (Yes, I know Brown's previous jobs, but he acted more as a paper pusher and a status quo guy than someone who pushed law enforcement.)
