I like the chemistry between Brewer, Capela and Monstrez. They all run the floor like greyhounds. Dekker and even KJ don't have he same chemistry with these 3. Need another ball handler on that 2nd unit. Not a fan of Gordon running with these thoroughbreds, might wear him down too much.

Super pumped . We need these young guys to step up this season . We need for our young guys to develop . These players playing tonight represent our best hope for the future . Our team is harden , but he needs more soldiers . Not only can these guys contribute for the rockets , they can also increase their stock to be used in trades . I want to hold on to young players and have them break out in Houston make no mistake , but I also want to win ... And sometimes a trade is the only way to do that .

Dekker , KJ , Harrel , Onaku , Capela , and Payton along with a few others all have legitimate NBA tools . They should have spent the summer working and developing . This is where they can develop their feel for the game and decision making . Despite our Free agent signings our rotation is wide open . Plus there are always injuries . Our young guys may not be number one overall picks or even high first rounders , but they have enough talent that you can't put a ceiling on them yet . They've all got tons of the p word .

You can't put too much stock into summer league performs but there are several things that they can do in Vegas that will help their futures tremendously if they play with energy and play smart .

I'm excited to see if these guys have taken a leap forward or if the NBA will leave them in the dust . Again , we won't know after tonight much of anything conclusive . But it's still a fun and exciting time to dream and be entertained .

    Yes some rockets basketball.

Honestly haven't been this interested in summer league in a few years. It always seems none of our 1st round picks would ever play but this year everyone is playing. Really want to see dekker and how he moves with and without the ball.

Dekker's trying too hard to add to the box score. He is playing like someone worried about whether he belongs.

Best looking thing so far is Beasley's passes pushing the ball down the court after rebounds.
