Don't be so sure about that...

Miami just lost their backup C last night and they're going to get a medical release on Bosh's remaining salary soon. They are right there in the East and want to make the playoffs.

    His name came up quickly.

Actually the opposite, he's a life time subscriber. Who do you think his source is?

He would be the best fit with these group of guys.

Agree. He should be able to run the floor with our guys unlike Bogut.

We've been going back and forth about sanders vs bogut all week and this is prob the first thing we agree on.

I didn't think about that angle with John Lucas.

That is a very good look and would make me feel more comfortable if we sign him.

I still think he'd be useless this season but maybe he would be a valuable asset next season

We don't even have to give him a team option. Just pay him minimum 300k for the rest of this season and make a decision on what to do during the summer.

Team option allows us to do precisely that. Also secures him as a trade asset if he performs well like Beasley (even thought Ennis didn't pan out).

Larry Sanders has been declining for years. I am scared to see how much he has declined since he has been out of the NBA. HUGE leap to think that he can defend and rebound at a high level.

His last good season was FOUR YEARS AGO.

Our last resort is to give Nanu minutes ala Capala vs the Mavs. He needs to keep on working on rebounding and defense in the D-league, and make his underhanded FT's.

Not too much to gripe about, we're picking from the trash bin.

Ryan Bowen it is. Everyone needs to shut up and be happy about it.

I have a good feeling about him. Don't think he can have a break out playoffs this year like Capela did a few years ago, but I think he'll shine next year. Hopefully he'll do enough to start some vicious "Capela vs Onuaku" threads.

Buy someone which can grab many rebounds to upgrade the center

BREAKING: Larry Sanders no longer smokes weed anymore.

Quotes from scouts who watched his workouts in Miami:

There is confirmed interest from teams other than Boston and Cleveland (could possibly be Miami and us).

Also interesting that Harden ended his last season by breaking his orbital bone. Would be an interesting turn of events to be the ones to give him the 2nd chance.

Can we sign Sanders to a 10-day contract? Bogut is gone.

Sign Sanders to 10 days to see what shape he's in. If he's okay, then sign for the rest of the season or whatever.

I'd consider Sullinger. He was good in the past, don't know if he can play D though.

It's a tough call on Larry. Supposedly we have this awesome chemistry......but Larry a few years back put up some amazing, defensive player of the year numbers. I believe there was a year where the Bucks were a top five defense with him on the floor and a bottom five defense without him. Physically, he looks like the type of center we need to get up and down the court in the MDA system. At the worse he may be worth a looskie if Bogut Bogut's us. If Larry works out great, if not cut him.
