Lillard:Williams Matthews:McCollum Batum: D Wright Aldridge: T Rob Lopez: Leonard Portland looks decent guys
They just seem like all it will take is a injury in their front court and all hell could break loose.
I don't know, I still have a hard time picturing them in the playoffs. If they were in the East this would do, but in the West, too much competition.
Blazers are picking the wrong time to double down... Regardless of where he ends up, I hope they ship LMA by the deadline and allow the league to enjoy the Lillard show. Draft well and come back strong next year PHX gets it
Best case scenerio is 8th seed but more likely a 10 seed team in a loaded West. Way too young and inexperience. Plus their overall depth is lacking a pretty good veteran player.
I think this is a possible playoff team. Major improvements to their bench (not that it was hard to bring in any sort of improvement over last year's bench, it was horrid), which was the main reason they didn't make the playoffs last year since all their starters fizzled out towards the end of the season. I just don't see what this gets them, a first round exit, is it worth it? I have to wait and see.
They can get a kings ransom for LMA and build around Lillard. By the time Lillard hit's his prime they could have a very good team. It's best for all if they move him, unless Lillard breaks out again and goes to a new height, that team is stuck in the middle...the West is tough too soo....yeah.
I agree. By the time Lillard becomes a true fire superstar, Aldridge will be at the tail end of his prime and they will get less if they trade him then.
Lillard=awesome: Williams=meh Mathews=meh: McCollum=Rookie+? Batum=He Ok: D Wright=inconsistent Aldridge=AllStar: T-Rob=inconsistent Lopez=Meh: Leonard=still Learning This will not cut it in the west... 36-40 wins max.
Batum is a very good player. I think they are a chance for .500+. They have an all-star duo in the front/back court, thats a big advantage. Especially with a excellent player in Batum
