bunch of haters bc howard in a dunk contest is gonna be no different than before? Yeah i hate that he's in the dunk contest bc he sucked in the one he was in. I prefer to be entertained with something new, not with someone who is pretty damn corny and makes it lame
Dwight has always been a good player. The issue is he always thought he could do more than he could and he became toxic because of that. You don't want guys who don't know their role that's why San Antonio cut Stephen Jackson when he could still play.
You're right, man. I can't take back my post because it's already posted, but good for calling us out.
The dunk contest is the least entertaining event of the All Star weekend, with the ASG itself a close second.
This is the kind of mindset that stifles and stunts innovation. I dunno if you said this with Dwight in mind, but Dwight had some of the best ideas. Also, Aaron Gordon would like a word with you.
Nah I'm just saying everything has been done. I thought Dwight had some great ideas like the superman dunk and I saw a dude before trying to take a selfie while dunking but the magic is gone for me cuz we all know dunking is easy for athletes nowadays.
everyone's happy in Laker Land https://www.nba.com/article/2020/09/24/lakers-nuggets-game-4-postgame-column
Probably the last All Star game I really enjoyed was 1985. The West won 140-129 and Ralph Sampson was the MVP. What an incredible collection of talent! (what were we talking about?) The West starters: C Kareem Abdul-Jabbar F Ralph Sampson F Adrian Dantley G Magic Johnson G George Gervin Reserves: Rolando Blackman Alex English Norm Nixon Hakeem Olajuwon Larry Nance Jack Sikma Calvin Natt The East starters: C Moses Malone F Julius Erving F Larry Bird G Isiah Thomas G Michael Jordan Reserves: Bernard King Sidney Moncrief Terry Cummings Micheal Ray Richardson Dennis Johnson Bill Lambeer Robert Parish
Was a Howard fan before I knew who Harden was, was a Rockets fan before I knew who Howard was, naturally when we got him I was super excited only to be disappointed with immature attitudes on both parties part, Harden and Howard. No doubt in my mind if things worked out differently between them we would have won at least one with Howard.
its amazing the progress hes made over the years, from being a loser on rockets to being a serious playoffs contributor on a championship team making a difference
He was sold on being the 2nd option to come here but when he did come, they wanted him to do what he is doing now, be a role player. That was the whole problem with the Rockets they wanted more Harden offense. He wanted from room to be creative too. After all these years he has accepted the role we had planned for him all along. The role that maximizes his overall abilities.
If I recall . .. he was not very kind to YAO at first So I was not a big fan Role Player versus Second star is everything Rocket River
