Do the Lakers have an easy schedule? yes they do but they BEAT who they're supposed to, as opposed to the Rockets who you don't know what you're going to get from game to game. It's still way early in the season and things usually even out. I despise the Lakers and the media coverage they get as much as the next fan but they're doing what they're supposed to be doing - beating teams that they have no business losing to.
I agree and Antetokounmpo looks like the best player. The Bucks lost a very good player in Brogdon and Middleton has missed some games and they are still on a 10 game winning streak with a tough schedule. Shows how great he is and how valuable running a real system is in the NBA.
Technically, the Rockets have beaten everyone they’re supposed to. They haven’t lost a game to a team that doesn’t have a winning record this season.
Lakers are severely overrated & so is Lebron James. When they fail this year, the Lebron lead media will blame: 1) Injuries 2) Frank Vogel 3) Anthony Davis 4) Lebron's age They'll give Lebron all the praise now because they're winning. But when they lose its everybody but Lebron. I think we will beat them easily in a 7 game series
they beat who they're supposed to with the help of officiating in at least 3 games off the top of my head.. and all were down to the last shot. that sacto game was egregiously in favor of the lakers and kings were jobbed. okc lost twice to the lakers within a week in games that okc wouldve won if officiating wasn't so lopsided. the lakers also were lucky as hell against memphis in a 1 point win, and stole games in the last minute on sheer luck/boneheaded play by the opposing team against chicago and new orleans. that's 6 games against teams that are nowhere near playoff contention that the lakers were lucky/gifted a win.
the MEM game, they were down until an egregious call against ja morant giving kuzma 3 FTs for literally thrusting his douchebag carcass into morant -- a play that eager zebras would whistle wilt harden for an offensive foul 100% of the time. fuking silver..
The Lakers have the hardest schedule this month so we'll see where they are at by the end of the year.
17-2 is no joke, but I swear, every time I see them play, they’re playing the Pelicans or the Thunder or the Warriors.
