The Sixers(if healthy) and Raptors will give the Cavs a little bit of resistance, but yeah, it looks like Cleveland will be coming out of the East yet again. I can't see them beating the Rockets or Warriors though.
Quite unfortunate for Boston fans. Man, lose your first star on opening night and losing another one right before the playoffs. Raptors vs Cavs ECF.
So after that blockbuster trade none of the players involved will actually suit up for their new team come playoff time barring a miraculous turn of events for Zizic to get PT.
Yep lol, and that bad knee is going to get a max in a year from now...Irving is a great talent, but i'm not a fan of giving him a max, i mean, i understand that a player like him is going to get it regardless, but still...
I think this might be a blessing in disguise. Hayward's horrible injury already ended their ability to truly contend even before the season got underway. This allows Kyrie to fully recover from his previous surgery and come back healthy next season with a healthy Hayward. Meanwhile, Brad Stevens can focus on speeding up Tatum and Brown's development and turn them into potential star players in the playoffs. Then, there's Smart, Rozier, and Ojeleye -- opportunity to turn them into solid role players as well. So yeah, a fully healthy Celtics team with playoff experience from their young players, will be a force in the East next season!
yeah i was just thinking this. all of there young guys get a huge taste of playoff experience and a confidence builder. with the return of kyrie and hayward next year, theyll all be ready to take the east fairly easily
I wonder if you will have teams trying to lose in the East so they can draw Boston in the first round.
