U don't just come back from wrist surgery. He will need 10-12 weeks recovery. They are hoping raptors cruise to conference finals and he will make a return. Raptors done.
Just when they add Ibaka and tucker and look like they could at least compete with the Cavs, this happens.
toronto still have a solid pg in joseph to finish the season's games. don't think toronto has any reason to panic as long as they know lowry will be back for the playoffs which sounds more than likely
There went my fantasy season. Toronto will be okay long term, but this definitely makes it possible or even likely that they drop HCA this year.
Man, the Cavs are just being handed the Eastern Conference title. They get Deron Williams and Andrew Bogut for nothing(thanks a lot, Cuban!). The Raptors lose Lowry til at least the playoffs. The Celtics stand pat til next season. The Wizards only pick up Bogdanovic. So the only real suspense now is can the Spurs or Rockets somehow stop the Warriors in the West?
Setting reg season W/Ls aside: Where this could also hurt is less games for Lowry and new-acquired Ibaka to play together prior to playoffs.
