Came here to post something similar. I was warming up to trading for Melo, but glad it didn’t happen.

Ryno is limited, but is more important than most want to give him credit for. Plus he’s a team first guy. Ryno will have some positive moments in the playoffs, I really believe that. I just hope there are more positives than negatives. With a somewhat reduced role, I’m thinking the positives will win out.

 

He’s human, he wanted Rubio just up until a year ago.

One the last play the first video i blame Russ more than Melo. Melo did brick some quick shots before that play but Russ should have let his team set in place. If you watch the replay Russ drive right in with no plan whatsoever. The ball just got to him and they still had 16 seconds left. The paint was covered and Melo and George weren’t set in their spots. Russ used Melo as a bailout once he saw he had no shot. Melo was well cover and not yet behind the three. Then he got behind but was covered by then. Then he didn’t know what to do. Lol.

So yea that last play is 70% Russ fault and 30% percent Melo. In my opinion.

Billy Donovan has no idea what he's doing. Westbrook is the antithesis of the player Melo needs to be playing with. Chris Paul and James Harden were always better options for him and his training last off-season was tailored to getting with those guys.

Easy shots, quick shots, consistent shots.

In OKC he'd go huge spurts without touches and that really hurt his rhythm. Up until Christmas he was getting touches and playing well but then Westbrook took over and Melo's numbers most tanked.

Many nights got 2/7, 3/10 instead of 8/18 will kill your efficiency and couple that with the lack of a system and you have a recipe for disaster. Melo is far from done but easily on his back 9.

For the minimum salary he'd fit in perfectly with you guys, we all know this. He's not a bad teammate nor a cancer nor selfish. Just wants to be utilized properly and play with other great players.

This time Melo will join the Rockets.He has a no trade clause.He can turn down any trade he doesn't like. It will end up in a buy out. Starting 5 will be Cp3, Harden, Melo,Tucker, and Capela. A banana boat float down Main street in June.
