I don't see any way Ariza is included considering cp3 was recruited by James and Trev.

I don't see how Gordon is included if it's a 4 team deal. Giving up Ryno for Melo is fine but throwing in Ego. in too is way too much.

 

This is partial vindication that understood that Anderson will be hard to move .

Rebuilding teams don't want the 3 years left on his contract , and few contenders would consider him an upgrade , or good piece for the price .

This deal is taking so long because we can't find other teams to give us good enough assets for Anderson .

Granted , the fact the Knicks don't have a GM right now is also a factor .

There has been so much smoke from "insiders" and the players side ; but relatively little from guys like woj and shams .

I hope your right, Ariza is a very versatile defender with length who can knock down the 3 ball. The Rockets most importantly need to get better defensively like MDA said at the end of the season.

 

If the rumors are true, the issue isn't moving Anderson right now, it's moving salary from the other team.

Example: Portland is willing to absorb Ryno but want to move out Meyers Leonard and we CAN'T take him back (hard cap) and NY WON'T take him back.

 

We would probably be in a better position if we had kept Dekker or Montrezl from the Paul trade. Were there only so many NG players they could use in that trade?

Ariza is not even that good. He's not good defensively and his offense is garbage.

Given how incredibly difficult it is to get a four-team trade completed, I don't see this happening soon. Though if Morey pulls this off and retains everyone bar Ryno and filler, he's deserving of GOAT GM title.

Portland is only "reportedly" willing to take on Andersons salary because they are also dumping bad contracts.

The Knicks aren't willing to take on Andersons contract , nor a bad Portland contract.
