    Beta-B****.

One of the more douchey people I have ever had the pleasure of skeeting on in a 3 on 3 tournament.

We might not like them, but if one of our star player did that..we'll see how committed cp3 is. I think he should take paycut, but then again, ain't my money.

This may be good for us. Hopefully Clint Capela and CP3 take a pay cut to add other players.

He needs a new agent or a wife to tell him to think a little selfishly sometimes.

I also blame the media for not challenging him. You have people calling him one of the best SGs but there is no pressure on him to play well every night like there is for Harden or Derozan...or even Mitchell.

I mean good for him if he takes a paycut. That will be impressive, especially considering there has been talk for two years that he was eyeing a major max deal and couldn't wait for free agency.

The Warriors really lucked into things with the way their players got new contracts at just the right times.

I know this is the Warriors. We jeer at him, saying that he has no nuts to be the man of a lesser team.

If CP3 or Capela does it, we cheer, saying that they are loyal or that they love winning over money.

Preach. Those guys love their team more than the money. Our guys want to get paid. No way to hate on that.

If it's true he would be leaving $50 million on the table, Klay is nuts IMO.

On the other hand, maybe he's grounded in reality about his skillset and doesn't want to be exposed playing without Steph Curry.

This won't affect Clint because, unlike Klay, this will be his first extension. Guys rarely sacrifice the first time.

It depends on what is important to him.

If he left Golden State, I am not sure he would get a max offer from a really competitive team.

If he plays elsewhere, he isn't a Hall of Famer. If he stays in GS he likely wins multiple more titles and gets into the Hall of Fame.

Honestly I would likely take less money and stay as well.

NBA is ****ed. Everyone on the Warriors keep taking huge paycuts to screw over the rest of the league.

This is some grade A bullshit, the next CBA, they better force all-star players to take the max to prevent this from happening ever again.

According to the article, his extension could be as low as 4 year 92M, which to me is cheating.

I mean he is leaving 50M on the table and making a similar salary to Ryan Anderson.

Warriors drafted Klay and he wants to stay with them over money. Can't complain about that.

We hate on players all the time for not sacrificing a few bucks to win...this is 50 friggin mil...I've always dreamed about suddenly being an NBA player that would only play for the Rockets, despite being wanted by every single team. For 50 mil I'd play for the friggin Jazz...

How great would it be if they ended up winning no titles during those 5 years?

I've always wanted that to put a stop to super teams and the arm race team building. But it won't happen because the players union will never agree.

If it happened, good luck to keeping Harden, CP3, and Capela together.
