Kiper has the Texans selecting Kyle Wilson and McShay has them picking Joe Haden.

The only way the Texans wind up with Haden is a trade-up. He will be long gone by pick #20.

With his 40 time at the combine that might scare off some gms. Speaking of players slipping, word has it if Jimmy Clauson slips out of the top 9, he might do the electric slide all the way to the 20's like Aaron Rogers did a couple years ago. If that happens, I know the Texans have needs, but looking at Matt's injury history, the Texans should at least consider it. Its not everyday you get a chance to pick a potential franchise qb.

No way. We've got much more pressing needs and Clausen isn't enough to make you take him over talent at other positions.

Clausen shouldn't even be a top 20 pick, but he might be just because there is not a terribly deep level of talent in this draft. And I think calling him a "franchise" QB is laughable- I think he has the talent to be good if he keeps his head on straight, but when I think of franchise QB's, I think of Manning, Brady, Marino, Elway, etc...

not to mention Matt Schaub played all but a quarter last year, made the freakin pro bowl, and led the league in yards passing. No way you can project Clausen to do anything like that in the near future.

You have to be kidding. With all of the needs that we still have, you'd seriously consider taking a QB with our first pick? And on top of that, you're seriously calling Jimmy Clausen a FRANCHISE QB? Gah. Just.....gah.

I agree with you, Clausen just rubs me the wrong way, I don't think he'll be a bust per se, but I don't see him really being an upper echelon QB in the league.

So it makes perfect sense for the Raiders to draft him.

Because the Raiders love picking guys in the first round who turn out to not be very good.

Raiders picking someone because they are not an obvious bust...

Michael Huff, Robert Gallery, Darren McFadden I would classify as starters, not busts.

Jamarcus and DHB are certainly busts.

I figured you'd be up for some good old fashioned light-hearted Raider bashing.

Guess I caught you on the wrong day.

I just get a little irritated at how much of a joke the Raiders are to the mock-drafters.

Its hard to get any information when you're such a joke.

Most of them won't even discuss the team needs and just list the most ridiculous 40 time player in their slot.

Well deserved sure, but still gets a little old.

    Eat a platypus ****.

    You haven't won **** yet.

Jacoby Jones is no JJ Moses and Kevin Walter isn't Corey Bradford.

Lest I remind ye meatmunchers what booty ye gaves up for the likes of Phillip Buchanon!
