    What?

Did your parents watch you every minute you were outside?

I said you have to factor it in, I didn't paint teens to be saints.

    What are you factoring in?

The fact that the parents let them out unattended?

As a kid(7 years old). I threw rocks at cars but only the ones that were speeding. I thought I was doing a good deed. The driver that I hit and my parents did not think so. I learned my lesson. It wasn't a fun learning experience. But it would have been less fun had I been shot.

The fact that a bunch of kids were out there being kids without an adult, yes.

    Ok.

So once again do the parents never let the teens go out alone?

Why try to justify an obvious over reaction?

How did you know which were speeding? You had a radar gun at age 7?

I could see how fast most of the cars were traveling and which ones were going faster. I went for the ones that were going faster.

I don't have radar gun now, but I can see when car is exceeding the speed limit by a significant deal now.

I missed a lot of my throws. I hit only once. I learned my lesson.

The kids' punishment should be no TV/internet and/or community service. The dude who shot at them should go to jail.

    Good grief.

    1) Throwing snowballs at cars is dangerous. I don't want to totally dismiss that fact.
    2) YOU SHOT KIDS FOR HITTING YOUR CAR WITH A SNOWBALL? Go to hell.

    Yikes. People shouldn't do that.

Too bad guns are so prevalent in our society.
