According to Broussard (I know), Cleveland will not include Wiggins in a deal for Love. This means that we are now in a bidding war with GSW, Boston, and maybe Chicago for Love. I think we have GSW beat. Boston and Chicago I'm less sure of. No reason to lose heart yet. There are still options, but time is short. 1) Melo 2) Love 3) Rondo + Ryan Anderson
TJones + DMO + Canaan + NOP pick + Llull + Capella + Papanicky + 2017 pick I still don't know if that gets it done.
If LeBron walks in there and wants Kevin Love that bad, they'll part with Wiggins. Even if they don't some combo of Thompson/Waiters/Bennett is better than anything Houston has to offer. Plus Warriors will probably get over Khlay Thompson when push comes to shove.
Can we sign and trade Parsons? Maybe once matched we can flip him and Jones and the NOP pick for Love and brewer. Yeah there's the trade kicker though...
1. Can we get him? 2. Will he reSign with us? If no one either one of these. . . . . PASS Rocket River
No, can't be traded until mid December, and even then, we'd need him to approve any trade until next summer. 8.3 million TPE + T Jones, Clint Capella = ~$10,984,326. Add in Canaan, and whatever else you can, plus the Pelicans pick and some future picks.
We are not getting anyone good or great and if we get a white guy I expect him to be overrated but hyped up by Morey.
