This is absolutely suspend worthy, but knowing Stern he will do everything possible not to suspend him.

I think it deserves at least 3 games AND the officials should be in trouble for not calling that foul, that was AWFUL (obviously the latter won't happen).

Stern will make it either 1 game or 100K fine. Stern is gonna protect Love over Scola.

    hold on a second....

Are we really just going to ignore the fact that scola put his hands up and basically blocked Love's foot?

I was ready to jump on Love like everyone else when i heard Worrell and Bull call it (i wasn't looking at screen), so i was itching to see it, but i expected a direct hit, completely unecessary.

I'm not sure we can say this was intentional. When someone blocks your foot like that, it's not going to follow through forward, so where else was Love going to step? did he seem to try and go out of his way to miss scola? Doesn't seem like it, but that's different from getting Budingered. It pretty much came down to Love tripping himself or stepping on Scola. Unfortunately Scola got it.

I know i'ma get a lot of hate over it, but look at it a little more objectively. I won't be surprised if he doesnt get a stiff penalty because of this. Possibly a small fine and maybe a game, at most.

Its a heat of the moment post.
    Calm down.

Dude deserves a kick to the face himself though at the least.

Did any of the players saw what happened? Looks like everybody was running back on transition. Love and Scola was the last ones left.

You've complained many times about my Olajuwon threads.
That particular one was educating the fans about the 80s Dream.

You want me to pull up some more posts?

To my knowledge, this is an out of character play by Love. I think it was probably a heat-of-the-moment thing he regrets (Scola has a way of getting under the skin of other opponents, plus there was a no-call on just the play before). Personally, I have to respect the fact that he pretty much out-toughed all our interior players despite playing sick.

This Rockets team is soft. PERIOD.

When your "POWER FOWARD" gets his FACE stepped on & doesn't respond that's BAD.

He should've put Derek Fisher's ass in the scorer's table for elbowing him a few years ago but didn't.

Amnesty Scola he's soft and DONE!

There are some fools here. Don't wish harm on Love. DO wish a suspension on him. And don't pretend it wasn't on purpose. It was obviously intentional.

This thread is on how KEVIN LOVE stepped on the face of LUIS SCOLA. Once again you wanna turn it about you and Olajuwon. I don't hate Olajuwon, never have never will.

    GTFO troll.

yea i see ur point but he could of just been trying to get back on d. the way people are describing this is as if he stomped on his face with intention to hurt scola. In no way did Love do this. in fact he barely, if at all, grazed scola's face. Im not entirely sure he could of avoided contact. so for that reason im gonna go ahead and say he didnt do it intentionally.

Doesnt really change what i said...

I think he turned, scola put his arms up and kept his foot from coming forward, Love lost some of his balance and said it "fck it" and stepped down. of course he knew he stepped on him, which is why he didnt react. I dont like it either way, but it's a big difference between that and planning it and following through. And again, the league will take scola's blocking his leg into consideration.

Man, I stopped watching the game at halftime having a feeling they were gonna lose the game and I totally missed this.

I really liked Love and I thought he was better than Griffin. He is still a better player but a douche as a person. That's just wrong.
