Yea anyone thinking that KJ was "torched" yesterday is ridiculous.

He gave up one deep bomb to Sammy where the safety helped over the top too late and two short td's where he had decent coverage but was beat by a good throw and catch.

Also made some nice breakups throughout the game. He will be fine I like what I've seen all season.

Maybe not torched but he got beat. This is not how you play goal-line coverage

And he let Watkins get behind him here

Did we give neg credit to the opposition when KJ was batting passes down?

Coverage was still tight on the WR and it took a perfect pass by Taylor. Great play by the Bills and if the throw was just a tad off KJ would have been there to bat it down.

    The below is getting beat.

^ And the ball was UNDERthrown at that, and he would not have been able to even swipe or jump at it had it been leading the receiver.

Not sure if you mean the Hopkins catch or the Watkins catch. Good coverage is step by step or keeping the receiver in front of you. If he covers like that, that is a catch 85% of the time. I'm not saying he is a bust or needs to be benched; he just had a bad game yesterday. It happens.

Getting torched is part of the business. It's not an indictment at all on him, and those were great plays made by Buffalo. But it's not disingenuous to say that he got picked on yesterday.....he did. And he showed maturity and poise by not letting it affect him. Is it impossible for you guys to not understand that every criticism of a player isn't said with a tone of disdain or hatred?

I am saying on top of how KJ was beat, Watkins beat him to the underthrown ball.

I don't expect much from you when it comes to this topic, but you do know that he wanted to play right? The team didn't let him.....and he was pissed off about it. Pick your battles better when you are trying to push narratives.

Are we really comparing a stress fracture on the 5th metatarsal bone to what Clowney has had? Besides the fact that Clowney was wanting to play 100% (and probably could have with no issues), what KJ had to deal with is something that most NFL players could play through.

I know Rick had to have Marcus peters ranked higher but those off the field Issues killed his chance of coming here

Holy crap that has to be another 15-20 lbs. of muscle alone. He doesn't look like a freshman at Vandy anymore! Very nice KJ.
