    Dang. That was an accident waiting to happen. Hellcat is too much engine for the cars dodge puts them in today.....WAY too much for an old muscle car. Especially on a winding road.

    good news is the injuries are not life threatening. probably just needs to take a year off the comedy and recuperate.

    Probably used to driving modern cars with anti lock brakes, traction and stability control etc. I mean you can see drivers lose control of late model sports cars all day long; that gift was a Trojan horse.

    Hope he's okay.

    One of my friends sent me this story yesterday along with a tweet showing that car off. Beautiful Barracuda. I hope he'll be ok because, like him or hate him, he busts his butt.

    Besides the body it was a brand new high tech car -- but always put a roll cage in your retro-mod old roofs pancake or shear off.

    That thing was a restomod with a modern Hellcat engine and transmission. I hope they upgraded the brakes. lol. I'm guessing speed or failure or something may have had something to do with the crash, but who knows.

    It had stability control, ABS, traction control, IRS, and air bags? That's crazy.


    EDIT:

    Naw, just looked into it it doesn't have any of that stuff. it just has a 4 link in the back, non-ABS wilwoods, front a-arms with soft coilovers. Good thing it had 800 hp tho

    We heard a small noise coming from the suspension, and when we pulled over, we saw that the tires were rubbing on the inside fenders. Menace really needs stiffer springs (it’s running 450lb springs in the front, 250lbs in the rear) or a slightly higher ride height as every time we went near the gas in a turn, it would squat and the inside wheels would rub on the inner wheel wells.
