Trader Jeff! Ken Rosenthal just tweeted that Houston has traded Brett Myers to the White Sox.

Can't wait to see what we got for him. Hopefully Wandy is next.

 

White Sox have the worst system in baseball, so don't expect a Trayce Thompson or Nestor Molina.

 

Why, oh why, couldn't we just do this whole fire sale thing back in '09 and be done with it? Dragging the thing on all the way through '12 is such a downer. McLane really sullied his tenure as owner between '06 and the end.

 

Don't expect too much, unfortunately. White Sox have the worst system in baseball.

 

Cordero's been **** the last 2 years. We didn't trade for him because we thought he'd be good. Don't expect much.

Matthew Heidenreich seems like a better prospect since he is in AA. Blair is 23 and still in single A and he went to college.

 

Can't find much. I'll wait for Baseball America and John Sickel's write-ups their prospect status. Walters was #21 on Sickel's preseason White Sox top 20. Heidenreich didn't even get a mention. Heidenreich was Carolina league (HiA) all-star this season and got a mid-season promotion to AA. I expect the PTBNL to be a significant one because I'm not blown away by the other two guys.

 

Not highly ranked prospects at all but I'll take it. Wandy, you're up.
