We are over cap, Ryan Anderson’s “dead money” would not create 20 million in cap space to get players. We got a bunch buyout guys, a backup for Paul, in rivers, a power forward in Faried.

So again, what exactly did it cost us. The answer is nothing really.

You're seriously trying to suggest that spending nearly 20 million dollars on a player who wasn't even you playoff rotation had zero effect on the team? If that were really true, then why isn't Anderson still here?

This is about the right system , coaching and role players

Kawhi wouldn’t thrive in D’Antoni’s and Moreys system

Care to explain what in particular would lead to believe that he wouldn't?

That it wouldn’t benefit from Kawhi’s strengths as a mid range shooter and post game

You don’t get into the “who is the better player” debates, yeah, then their coach is better than ours. OH, there you go!!! Super of you, finding all those excuses.
and i don't get why their coach is better than ours, since MDA has built himself quite a reputation in the league. Who is the coach for Raptors?

sad to admit, but James Harden is really nowhere near Curry for the moment. Curry has proved himself Legend, changing the games of the era. While Harden still got a long way to go.

LOL, aight man...believe what u want

Harden would have rings in GS while “legendary” Curry would be ringless here

Klay would’ve been the FMVP if GS had come back to beat Toronto, so GOAT Steph would’ve played with 3 different teammates who had won FMVP instead of him in a 5 year span.

more like the Rockets got a long way to go before they build a team anywhere near as stacked as the ones Steph usually plays on

If Harden is nowhere near Steph, how come Steph has so much trouble beating Harden, aging CP3, and a bunch of role players with KD, Klay, Draymond, and Iggy? I really want to know.

The one year Harden plays with an actual top 10 player he wins 65 games and would’ve won the title if that top 10 player didn’t get hurt. Now give him an MVP caliber player like KD, another top 20 player like Klay, a former All-Star off the bench in Iggy, and 1 of the game’s best defenders in Draymond and let’s see what he can do.

Nah, I'll take Harden. Must be nice to skip 22 games in the regular season for load management and still get a 2 seed in your joke conference. Toronto starts the playoffs on the road if he pulls that crap in the West.

It's the same argument with Harden vs Giannis. What Harden does on offense alone trumps Giannis' and Kawhi's overall value.

I mean look at the Raptors' title clinching game. Kawhi played like a role player for most of the game. He can get away with it because the Raptors 1-8 are all solid and they got insanely stupid injury luck with KD and Klay gone.

That is why it would be crazy to imagine him with the Clippers.

They have to claw their way to the WCF........

I guess Kawhi's also a hundred times better at choking than Harden. I bet he was praying that Murray and Jokic went down to injuries so he could face a crippled team like he did against the Warriors.

Yeah, you won't hear a peep from the media on this one. Kawhi plays for an LA team now.

No he’s NOT hahaha. It goes to show how tough it is to win. It’s more than the talent it goes to hustle and coaching!
