Without CP3, James has to log a triple-double in game 6.

JVG loves Houston -- it's nice to have a major media voice on our side for a change.

I'd be more worried if Skip said this. That man has been wrong about 20 different things during this post season alone.

If Har-gawd and E-gawd show up plus our Smothering D - we win game 6.

I love JVG, but man, it seems like every time he picks the Rockets to win, they lose.

Does JVG still live in the Houston area? Obviously he did for a while after his coaching tenure here. Doesn't he still?

I always appreciated that about him: something about the city kept him here (maybe his family liked it here, the school for his kid/s, cost of living, all of the above, whatever it was.)

If the refs aren't bullshitting we can win it. We also need Harden to get midrange shots, currently at 0-20 from 3s

Yes, he still does live here. I know he goes to many sporting events at Rice University. He still frequently reps the Astros and Texans, not just solely the Rockets.

I also appreciate that he still reps for the city even though his coaching tenure here didn't end the way anyone would have liked; but it's refreshing that he doesn't hold the organization in any negative light or holds any kind of silly grudge unlike some others who were previously involved with the organization (*cough* Kenny and Charles *cough*).

    EDIT: For Grammar

    Skip is a nobody.

Gundy was actually a NBA coach a couple of decades ago.

The Rockets are really playing JVG style of basketball(48 min of tough grind out defense and slow half court offense) these last two games and winning against the defending champ.

Gordon as a starter has been phenomenal for us. Lets hope that trend continue and all the role players step up

JVG is the realest. Love how he embraced the team and the city even after getting canned.
