Great stuff. I still cannot get enough of this ride. You just cannot get much more storybook than what we have all experienced.
Most people in life work really hard. Not all. Plenty of bums out there. There's like 8 billion people in the world.
They work hard and physically sacrifice more than most people. The only comparable real world careers are ones where getting ill, injured, or killed is no surprise. Some people can outrun everyone since early-age, some are average, some don't survive early-age.
And if they don't cultivate that ability, spend thousands and thousands of hours training and practicing and studying, they're just some guy with a good arm.
There are athletes that have gotten by on natural ability, but most players have to work very hard to stay in pro sports.
Yep...and a lot of them are born athletically inclined with really good genes, but they generally don't amount to anything without hard work and dedication.
