Just saw some New Players for the Rockets at Memorial Herman

    I was passing through the breezeway from Herman to the UT Building about 8:30 a.m and saw some lady escorting 5 guys wearing rockets red shirts and I think I saw DJ Strawberry (he was talking to the lady) and Maarty Leunen (?). Anyways, the lady was telling the guy if all new guys have to get MRI's or just certain players. So take it for what its worth, I don't know what they were there for, maybe somebody else can confirm.

    Yeah I was hoping Landry was getting the MRI on his knee. If dude dont get checked out quick, I might take another tooth from his grill.

    As long as it aint the crown I just spent $800 on, its yours. I'm scheduled to get my wisdom teeth pulled next month. If you want, I can Fed-Ex them. Maybe you can put them under your pillow and see if you get a couple of bucks.

    That was the plan when we drafted him

    Then Summer League came along - Leunen looked REALLY good as not only a shooter, but a rebounder.

    Then Novak gets traded

    Leunen STILL hasn't wrapped up an overseas contract

    Hmmmmm

    My powers of deduction tell me that hes been told to 'hang around for training camp' and see if a roster spot opens up. And most likely that spot will open up - or we'll lose Leunen's rights!

    I tipped him to make the team before this apparent sighting...

    I think he meant "viola"

    Apparently Dorsey's contract would be worth about the same amount as one :cool:
