Juneteenth Tulsa MAGA Rally - Delay out of respect for African Americans?

I didn't know he still talked with Omarosa.

 

He isn’t trying to avoid having his home (Whitehouse) and properties (various overpriced resorts) burned to the ground by angry rioters.

 

This means he actually listened to someone. Big step for him.

 

There is no doubt in my mind when Trump loses he will still declare himself the victor and will put this country through a civil war if it serves his whim - and it does.

 

surprised he’s doing this...I guess the dog whistle was a little too blatant...there was no plausible deniability to be had with this one...no, oops

 

He only talks to the best blacks.

 

My guess is that his security team (SS) told him that this would be a bad idea and he risked a violent protest that could test their security measures.

 

I guess the Woke Cancel Culture won’t let the Criminal in Chief be the full blown racist he wants to be.

 

Trump is the race riot his people wanted.

I didn’t even know about what happened in Tulsa before May but I do know with more certainty that many a fine voter would rather burn it all down than have another minority as president.

 

I think the intention was to cancel and reschedule the entire time. PR move. Looks better.

Edit: come on, how can you guys not see this? The rally was never going to be held on the scheduled day. It's a weak attempt to win back some favor for having compassion. Wake up.

 

I'm genuinely shocked he's delaying. But then again I was also (less) shocked they chose Tulsa/Juneteenth.

This is just bizarre all around. But I guess Trump is starting to feel the pressure from the poll numbers.

 

I suspect enough people convinced him of the real possibility of even more protests surrounding his campaign rally that it would look bad on TV... and he heard that last word...

 

So ridiculous... that they would feel the need to spread this insanely unbelievable lie on such an important date...

 

Because they are afraid and insecure.

 

That is possible but as the saying goes don't attribute to malice that which can be explained by incompetence. I think Trump and his staff forgot about Juneteenth, or didn't think it would be that big of a deal. I know the White House put out a statement last year commemorating it but that was last year...

He was asked this question and there was no indication he had those intentions. He said he plans to move on to other things.
