I mean yeah he just signed a FAT contract and I'm sure most of you don't care but doesn't it at least bother you a bit that the NFL just hands out ridicolous fines like this? Wes Matthews does this all the time. It's gotten to the point I can't even care about the NFL because of this which seems to happen every week now. Not sure what player was it but last year a Steelers player was fined for honoring his dad who has cancer, but when it comes to their breast cancer awareness month they push you tu buy their merch.
The No Fun League Antonio Brown fined $9,115 for twerking NFL fined DeAndre Hopkins $6,000 for wearing Kanye’s Yeezy cleats NFL fines Texans' Corey Moore for preseason socks violation Cam Heyward, you cannot wear that eye black honoring your father Brandon Marshall, you can wear our pink BCA cleats but cannot wear those green cleats for mental health awareness NFL fines Will Gay, DeAngelo Williams for honoring their late mothers NFL’s breast cancer awareness month more about style than substance Hey NFL, can you pull the sticks out of your ass? Next they will tell them they can no longer sit, kneel or raise a fist during the anthem or else risk fine/suspension (or worse). Oh wait, there's already at least one owner who said "You're going to stand on the line with your hand on your heart and you're going to sing the national anthem because this is my stage." Edit: Unless Baldwin was referencing a fake Jerry Jones story
My point!! I understand these guys are millionaires but does this not bother anyone!!!! It's getting ridicolous now.
They need a better union. They have by far the worst Union in sports. The NBA players just got an Owner kicked out, yet the NFL players pretty much have no power.
Fantasy Football has also been a huge factor. Just watched the video and basically any type of gesture could potentially be flagged which is ridiculous.
