In just 2 months, 97.5/94.1 has accumulated any of the previous sports radio hosts in Houston worth a damn... and 790 has hosts that don't respect the teams they cover.

Matt Thomas is literally the lone wolf. Clanton doesn't do enough to separate himself from the other talking heads.... not sure he has another gear in him either (he is who he is at this point).

 

Innes and Clanton are racists... just like anyone else who doesn't respect Kapernick's stance.

Anyone who is not watching the NFL because of kneeling is racist.

I've heard a couple posters say Clanton is a racist. I don't see it.

Don't want to start a kneeling debate here (or ever at all). I have my opinion on kneeling (which I feel you're a grown man, if that's what you want to do, then whatever), but from what I've heard Clanton say about his disagreements about kneeling are not racist IMO. People are making the kneeling issue a racism/police brutality issue, others are making it a respect your country issue. Clanton is making it a respect your country issue, so i don't see the racism

Clanton is doing a poor man's impression of Fred Fowler. Tries to act like he doesn't care but he really does and won't stick to his guns when his take is too hot. Love him because he loves Houston sports though (esp. Rockets).

 

Yes the Fred Fowler bit is lame, and Clanton always comes off as butt hurt regularly. Jason Braddock has been egging him on to do more impressions

 

Clanton is tolerable when he’s talking sports. On social issues he comes across as condescending and willfully ignorant. A guy who’s obviously smarter than what he just said, yet is choosing to be a contrarian just for the sake of it. I can see how people may want to equate that to being racist. But that’s not how I would describe him. Ingenuine is a better descriptor.

 

He's just trying to keep his job and make the top brass happy is what it seems like he's doing.

 

the most annoying part of clanton is how he'd diss the astros organization every chance he got "lastros" blah blah. now he's the first one with the hat starting twitter wars with dodger fans. At least penis would attend astros game when they were losing 100+ a season. Tuned in to Josh after baseball season and I was reminded why I hated him. He was pretty good during the astros season minus the aoki racial bit. Then again, I'd probably tune in to hitler if he talked Stros.
