Yeah. I've come off Walden. He hasn't shown anything over the last couple months in workouts that stands out. Looks like he was just an efficient college model guard.
Has been Scoring at will in the Summer League. Still think this guys will be the steal of the draft. Steph Curry-lite.
Celtics signed Walden today to a 2-year minimum salary deal. Most likely won't make it out of training camp. But the $25,000 guarantee they gave him plus the d-league salary may be enough to keep him state side in hopes of earning a contract in d-league. I'll be keeping tabs on him. I think he's a plus defender. And those guys are rare at the point. Will be interesting to see how and if he develops.
