So the Rockets have the knack of giving some bench dude superstar like nights. This honesty kills the Rockets but I personally don't think this will be so bad in the playoffs. Yes some guy that averages 4 minutes a game might score 30 points but I don't foresee this happening every game. Guys who average 6 points a game do so for a reason.

What do you guys think, do you think that we will just be beaten by some bench guy getting career high numbers night in and night out on the same team that many games in a row or do you think that we might fair even better in the playoffs because this wont happen the way it has been in regular season?

It's not that Joe dirt gets career nights. It's that we play really bad D sometimes and lack the in game awareness to realize joe dirt just hit 3 threes in a row and continue to leave him open

How do you think Grizzles fans felt when Sam Dekker scored 30 points?

Yep that's exactly what happened in the Hawks game when Tim Hardaway went off.

This has been happening forever - back to Brewer's 51 point game and beyond. It usually seems to be a team's second wing player that averages 6 ppg and goes off for 35+ against us. Maybe that's part of our defensive strategy; contain the primary guys and let someone random score. Or maybe there is a hole in our defense on the wing. ;)

I do think that we will turn the D up in the playoffs. There was a point in the game last night when harden scored on 2-3 consecutive baskets and was having to guard Davis on the other end and his D was pretty damn good.
